Words of wisdom - 1

Blessings
But it will go well with those who convict the guilty,
And a rich blessing will come on them.
Proverbs 24:25

As christians we have a responsibility to live with integrity.
Gods blessings is promissed to those who accept the challenge to stand up for what is right.

God hates lying
A worthless person, a man of iniquity, Is he who walks with a perverse mouth; Who winks with his eyes, who signals with his feet, Who motions with his fingers;
Prov. 6;12-13

Lying has many forms.we do not always speak a lie,we may act out our lies as wel.
The person who cheats at his job or is wilfully disobedient to authrity is just a liar as the person who speaks untruths. Both types are abhorrent to the lord.

Lasting happiness
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death.
Prov.10;2

Some people bring unhappiness on themselves bij choosing a sinful lifestyle.
The principles from the Bible will bring us lasting happiness, joy and satisfaction.





Blessings
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
Prov. 10;6

The blessings of obeying God we all will enjoy in this life and in the life to come.





Family fued He who troubles his own house shall inherit the wind. The foolish shall be servant to the wise of heart.
Prov. 11;29

Make it a point to actively strive for healing and understanding in your family.





Stress
If you falter in the time of trouble, Your strength is small.
Prov. 24;10

We should not complain about our problems nor should we allow them to become more stressfull than necessary.



Accepting criticism
Poverty and shame come to him who refuses discipline, But he who heeds correction shall be honored.
Prov. 13;18

As this proverb teaches, by accepting criticism, we actually learn to better ourselves and improve our character.



Confidence
A wise man fears, and shuns evil, But the fool is hotheaded and reckless.
Prov. 14;16

As christians our confidence is to be in the Lord. How can we ever expect to accomplish anything without Gods guidance and direction.?
Happiness
A glad heart makes a cheerful face; But an aching heart breaks the spirit.
Pov.15;13

Although we cannot change the feeling and outlook of life of each other, we can do a lot to help a friend who is sad. Just simply by listening, paying them a visit or demonstrating the love of Christ to them so that we could cheer up those who are depressed and upset.

Attitudes
All the days of the afflicted are wretched, But one who has a cheerful heart enjoys a continual feast.
Prov. 15;15

We cannot always choose what happens to us ,but we could choose our attitude toward each situation.

Laziness
He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, But the hand of the diligent brings wealth.
Prov. 10;4

See the time you have as Gods gift, and seize every opputunity to live for Him.
