When people ignore the truth, they'll go "La, La, La"

There's a new hit out, with a catchy tune, it's naughty boy's "La, La, La", did you really listened to the lyrics. It's a song that really goes about people who want to share a message of hope, truth and real love. (Like Christians). but in this song people are encouraged to cover their ears, like a small boy or girl would and shout "La, La, La" thus ignoring complety the words that are spoken to them.
The Apostel Paul warns youngful Timothy that this would happen to a large portion of our society. Listen to these words in het second epistle of Paul to Timothy in the fourth chapter of this letter.

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. (2 Tim 4:2-4) KJV
Just listen to the words of the song.. read my explanation verse by verse.

Song:
"Hush, don't speak When you spit your venom, keep it shut I hate it When you hiss and preach About your new messiah 'cause your theories catch fire. I can't find those silver linings I don't mean to judge But when you read your speech, it's tiring Enough is enough.
I'm covering my ears like a kid When your words mean nothing, I go la la la I'm turning off the volume when you speak Cause if my heart can't stop it, I find a way to block it I go La la, la la la."

It seems that the words of the Gospel are hurtful... like venom to the people who hear it. They rather have the mouths of those who bring the message be shut up. We are preaching about the messiah, but that message seems nothing but 'false theories' by others. People don't seem to hear words of truth and comfort but they experience of this of no worth. They only way to ignore.. is to cover your ears and go "la, la, la"

Song:
"Yes our love is running out of time I won't count the hours, rather be a coward When our words collide I'm gonna drown you out before I lose my mindbI'm covering my ears like a kid When your words mean nothing, I go la la la I'm turning off the volume when you speak Cause if my heart can't stop it, I find a way to block it I go La la, la la la."

They way people lived their lives on their own terms is almost at an end. Knowing that it all will end soon, meaning the time that the Devil had to do its own thing is almost over. People would rather turn away from the truth as a coward, than admit they are wrong and except a message of hope, love and faith.
Two worlds are indeed colliding, namely that of love, true love of Christ and the hurtfull self distructing world that satan seems to offer this dying world.

If people go "la, la, la" when you're trying by Gods grace to share the message of love... Do what Christ advises in Matthew chapter 10

11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. 12 And when ye come into an house, salute it. 13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. (Mat 10:11-14 KJV)

So don't be depressed or let you guard down... because God will stil be praised.. even when people go; "la, la, la".
