Borghild Dahl was a girl almost blind. She was able to see with one single eye but it was so sick as she was able to see only through a small opening on its left side. In her childhood, she was not able to play certain games because she was not able to see the signs, so after all the children were leaving, she was laying down on the ground trying to distinguish the signs. She was memorising every cm of the play ground, and become an expert on running games. She grew u and obtained two university degrees: a BA from Minesotta University and an MSc from Columbia University. She became a teacher of journalism and literature at Augustana Sioux Falls College in South Dakota. When she had 52 years old, she recovered her sight due to a surgery. All was appearing now so fascinating. Even making the dishes. “I started to play with the white foam. I can see the different colours of the soap bubbles. Thanks God for these beautiful colours.”
