I asked God for power, to be able to do everything
but I was born weak, to comply humbly.
I asked for health to be able to do great things
but I was born fragile, to be able to do important things.
I asked for richesness to be happy
But I received poorness to be wise.
I asked for power to be able to praise people
But I received weakness to look for God.
I asked all things I thought may make me happy
But I received life, to be able to enjoy all things.
I received nothing from all I asked for
But I received much more that I ever hoped.
And despite all my desires
My prayers were listened.
I feel blessed!”
