The physician said to Julie she will not be able to survive longer with dialysis and she need a kidney transplant. Her sister Mary agreed to donate one kidney. The surgeon made the transplant which extended the Julias’s life with 12 years. When someone asked Mary if she would still have been giving her kidney to Mary for only 12 years.
She answered how blessed these years have been.
Jesus knew that we need a transpant with a new heart for us to survive spiritually. The price He paid for that is much bigger than the donation of an organ without which He could still live. The price was His own life.
Does the Christ’s sacrifice change your heart? Take time right now and thank Him if so or pray Him to change it if not.
