An elder traveling in a caravan crossing the north of India, fainted because of the hot weather and the very long journey. Unable to proceed, the other travelers left him in the middle of the road, condamned to death. Bewtween them was a missionary who bowed close to the poor man and swispered: „What is your last hope?” The dying man hardly answered:” The blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God who saved me”. Then he get away.
The missionary has been more than surprised about the answer and the calmity in death of this man. Then he observed a piece of paper this man was holding on his hand. A page from 1 John 1. That man found the eternal life in a single page of the Bible.
How much are you valuing the gift of the eternal life Jesus wants to offer you?
