At the beginning of the Second World War, Hitler asked the Danish king to force all the Jews on his teritory to wear the „Star of David”. The king refused, arguing that for him all the citizens are the same. His attitude put the country at risk. Germany has been
given a good reason to attack Denmark, but an unexpected thing happened. As an appreciation for their king, all the Jews started to wear the stigmatizing symbol. As a result, all the citizens of Denmark started to wear the symbol too, regardless their nationality.
