Before Walt Whitman become one of the bests American poets, it was very hard for he to publish his writings. „Blades”, one of his best sellers, was so many times rejected as Whitman published it by himself. Consequently, he received a letter from Ralph Waldo Emerson, a famous poet, saying: „Sir, I am not blind. I can see your wonderful gift. I find “Blades” one of the most extraordinary piece of wisdom and intelligence I ever read. I want to congratulate you at the beginning of a starring career.”
