“For how shall I go up to my father if the lad is not with me, lest perhaps I see the evil that would come upon my father?”
Genesis 44:34

The desire of every child is to have happy parents. When you first came home from nursery with your first “good boy or good girl award”, when you first come home from school with an A, when you was offered admission to the college or the university of your dreams… have you been happy to see your parents shinning because of you? But what are you doing when you are disappointing them? What’s your reaction when you failed an exam? Or when you lost a big amount of money? When you felt in love with someone who has not the same moral principles like you? Do you write a letter to your parents? Do you phone them? Do you send a “messenger” to let them know? Do you hide the reality?

Maybe not, maybe yes. Why? It is that because you cannot resist seeing the disappointed face of you Mom or Dad?

Do you resist seeing the sad face of your Heavenly Father? What can you do today to make Him happy?

“The happiness we are offering to others is never diminishing but it returns to us stronger and stronger“.
V. Hugo
