“Yet I am poor and needy. May the Lord think on me.” Psalm 40:17

During the Great French Revolution on the 5th and 6th of October 1789, the inhabitants of Paris get out in streets to protest because the poverty became so deep and hard. People were asking for bread with a powerless voice. An important Lady from Court, Lady Polignac, was listening to the street rumours and told the queen Marie Antoinette:”What stupid people asking for bread. They could have some sponge cake!”
If you need something, go with your problem to God. He knows the realities of your life and more than that, He is highly interested about everything concerning you. He is really able to give you sponge cake when you miss bread.
