“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
Once upon a time a young man was proud of his heart. One day, he stopped in the centre of a town to praise his good heart in front of people who cannot stop be amazed of what they were seeing. Suddenly, an old man started to contradict him, saying that his heart was more beautiful than the heart of the young man. It was a strong heart, full of scars, bleeding wounds and even gaps. People were looking more and more amazed. The old man started to explain that every scar represents a dear person to whom he gave a piece of his heart. The pieces received from other sin return, didn’t fit exactly, so there is from where the wounds resulted. The gaps are due to those who gave nothing in return. Any bit of heart. Nothing. Giving implies risks.
The young man listened the elders and tears started to wet his eyes. When he finished, he brought him a big piece of his heart and gave it to the old man. The elder also tok a piece of his heart and gave it to the bachelor.
It is ad to have a functional heart which is devoided by beauty. Take care about the beauty of your heart!
