2 Corinthians 8:21  

The creativity of some merchants to raise their profits has no limits. The most affected by this „creativity” are the food products. Wheat powder, milk, butter, cream, sweets, etc, were „improved” by adding some strange additives such as ... chalk. The falsification of powder with baritine is recorded since the Middle Age, for example. Baritine is a mineral which is very easy to mix up and has a very heavy specific weight. By this trick, the weight of powder was increased considerably. It was a time in Germany when the falsification of the wheat powder became so important, as the extraction of baritine has been prohibited in order to stop the practice.

It is impressive how our society needs laws to force people to be honest!

An honest man is respected even by those who are not honest!
