The oldest world apeduct is in Spain. It was built in stone in the second century after Christ and has been used till the beginning of the 19th century, when the introduction of modern building products required building a new aqueduct. As the climat changed too, few years of lack of usage have done what 2000 years of usage failed to do. The ancient stone used to the wet environment, cracked and knocked down after the earth become dry.
