The most terrible words for a child are: „Not yet!” In each of us is a little, impatient child who wants immediate fulfilment of his will. When we are asking for something and God says „Not yet”, is a bit embarrassing, isn’t it? „But God, I want that, really, don’t you understand? I want it R-I-G-H-T N-O-W!” But God’s answer is „ You can cry, you can tap your feet, whatever you want. But you will not receive what you want yet. Trust Me! I know what I am doing!” God’s delays are not refusals but occasions to learn. Later we will understand much better and we will be happier that something was delayed.
