Many years ago, a statue of Jesus Christ was installed on the hights of Andes at the border between Chile and Argentina. Called „The Christ of Andes”, the statue was a symbol of the peace charter assigned between the two countries. As long as the staue will last, peace will last between the two countries. Shortly after the statue was installed, the Chiliens started to protest because the statue was standing with teh back to Chile. While people become more and more nervous about that, a journalist saved the situation. The wrote in an article that the Argentinians needs to watch more than Chilens and that’s why the statue is looking to them. That calmed down the spirits.
