„But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work” Exodus 20:10
An antique Greek legend says that a man was looking at the big fabulist and writer Esop playing with some children in Athens. Laughing ironically, he asked him why he is loosing his preciuos time with such un-important activities. Esop gave a strange answer. He took an crossbow, weakened its string and put it on the ground. Then he asked the Athenian man: „Could you please tell me what a weakened crossbow can do?” The man was looking puzzled, unable to understand what’s the point. The wise man explained: „If you are always keeping the string tensioned, it may broken. But if you weaken it then you can use it as long as you wish. People are like this string. That’s why they need to take a break sometimes and simply relax.”
Are you in a permanet rush? Take a break today and you will feel refreshed.
