DECISION

A man's life is hanging on the brink,
'Tween life and death,he starts to think.

God's Spirit pleads, "Come, come to me,
Accept my Son's death on the tree.
He died to save your soul from sin,
Open your heart and let Him in."

Satan sneers, "You can't be saved,
You've lived for me,
your life you gave To me when but a boy.
You can't accept God's gift of joy.
Don't weaken now, you've got your pride.

Christ's sacrifice was made
He died For those who'd live and work for Him,
Not men like you, who've lived in sin."

Once again the Saviour pleads,
"My grace, sufficient for your needs.
Have faith, believe, I died for thee,
Your choice decides eternity."

The angel chorus hold their breath,
Will he take life? Or is it death?
"Lord! Lord!" He cries, "Please make me thine,
I know I have so little time.
I'll take your offered gift, so free,
Oh could I live to work for Thee."

"No! No my son," the Saviour says,
"You've lived your life, You've spent your days.
Just take my gift. I give it free.
You'll live with Me eternally."

The angels touch their harps of gold,
All heaven resounds with joy untold.
Hark how the angel songs give vent,
Another sinner does repent.

But you, whose life is not yet done,
Accept the gift of God's dear Son.
Don't wait until your dying breath,
Serve Him in life. Don't wait for death.

Right now, today hear ye His voice,
Today's the day to make your choice.
Tomorrow may be too late for you.
Today let Him your life renew.
